The tools
What each tool does, which blocks it affects, and the limits that apply.
Every tool is an ordinary item with a hidden tool type and an expiry time. The names below are the shipped config keys, which is what you pass to /atools give.

Item types, names, enchantments and lore all come from config.yml, so the table shows the shipped defaults. See Configuration.
Drill and shovel
- Drill. Break a stone or ore block and every drillable block in the 3x3x3 cube around it breaks too, up to 26 extra blocks. Drillable: stone, cobblestone, deepslate, granite, diorite, andesite, netherrack, every ore including deepslate variants, nether quartz, nether gold and ancient debris.
- Shovel. Break a soft block and the 8 blocks around it on the same level break too, a 3x3 flat. Diggable: dirt, grass, sand, red sand, gravel, clay, soul sand, soul soil, mycelium, podzol, coarse and rooted dirt, mud, snow and snow block.
- The block you break must itself be in the list. Breaking something else does nothing special.
Timber Axe
Break one log and every connected log of any listed type breaks with it, found by searching in all directions, capped at 256 logs. It covers every overworld log, stripped log and wood block, plus crimson and warped stems. Leaves are left alone.
Harvest Hoe
Break one crop and every crop in the 5x5 area around it breaks too. Harvestable: wheat, carrots, potatoes, beetroots, nether wart, hay blocks, pumpkins, melons, sugar cane and cocoa. It breaks crops, it does not replant them.
Buckets
- Inferno and Tidal buckets place lava or water and are not used up. They work as many times as the clock allows.
- Drain buckets remove a fluid block and stay empty. The Aqua bucket only drains water, the Magma bucket only lava, and the Hydra bucket drains both.
- In a blocked world or region the action is cancelled.
Rocket and Jump Feather
- Sky Rocket. Right-click while gliding with an elytra to launch yourself forward at the configured speed (3.0 by default). It never consumes a firework and has a half-second cooldown. Clicking while not gliding does nothing.
- Nimbus Feather. Right-click while standing on the ground to launch upward. There is a one-second cooldown, and it does nothing in the air.
boost value appears in the shipped config but the code always uses 1.5.Sound and particles
Using a tool plays a configurable sound and two particle effects. Each player can switch them off for themselves with /atools toggle. Their choice is stored and survives restarts.
