Requirements

Choose the right jar

Jars are built per Minecraft version, and the file name tells you which one:

AlphaSell-<version>-mc-<minecraft>-java<java>.jar

AlphaSell-2.1.0-mc-1.21.11-java21.jar
AlphaSell-2.1.0-mc-26.2-java25.jar

Use the jar whose mc- part matches your server. A jar built for 26.x is compiled for Java 25 and will not load on Java 21.

Install

1. Stop the server and put the jar in plugins/, with Vault and your economy plugin.
2. Start it. The plugin creates plugins/AlphaSell/ with config.yml, tools-config.yml and lang/.
3. Get approved. A new server is pending and the plugin stays off. The console prints your server id. Send it to AlphaStudio, wait for approval and restart. See Server approval.
4. Test a sale. Run /sell, put an item in, and press the sell button.

Update

1. Back up plugins/AlphaSell/. storage/ holds every player's category progress and sell history when you use the default storage.
2. Replace the jar and restart. /alphasell reload never loads a new jar.
3. Check the lang files. If a lang file has a newer lang-version, yours is saved as *.old and the new one replaces it. The console says when that happens. Config files you edited are not rewritten.
